Steel-lined PTFE pipes are ideal pipes for transporting high-temperature hydrogen corrosion media such as strong acids, strong alkalis, industrial salts and highly corrosive gases. They have more excellent chemical stability than other plastics. RANA will introduce you how is the steel-lined PTFE pipe made:

       1. The seamless steel pipe is cut according to the actual size, and the steel pipe and the welding ring are welded. The argon arc welding can be carried out in the ring. The splash appearing in the welding is cleaned with a trowel, and the fillet weld is rounded, no sharp edge.

       2. Drill a small hole in the end of the steel pipe, make it clearly marked, and do not block it;

       3. Insert the tetrafluoroethylene tube into the steel pipe;

       4. When the flange is turned over, the tire mold is heated with an oxygen-acetylene flame;

       5. After heating, the tire mold is slowly pressed down and completely flattened, then cooled to ambient temperature with water, and then the tire mold is removed;

       6. Put the well-lined steel-lined PTFE pipe on the blind plate and send it into a special heating cylinder. Connect the compressed air pipe and heat the cylinder with medium frequency heating to warm the pipe to 280 °C. Then, 8 to 10 kgf/cm 2 of compressed air was slowly introduced.

       The steel-lined PTFE pipe is processed through the above steps, which not only has the function of acid-proof, alkali-resistance and corrosion resistance of the PTFE pipe, but also has the strength of the steel structure, and achieves the effect of combining the advantages of the two, which is new engineering plastics currently applied in various industries.
